The UN is Not Going
to Take Your Guns

There has been considerable buzz and anger expressed the past couple of weeks on the Internet (with some limited coverage by FOX News) that the United Nothing, aka, United Nations, is planning to cement some sort of "small arms ban" to include the 50 states of the Union. Let me tell you why this isn't going to happen. First of all, the US entered into an agreement with this private communist organization unlawfully. The treaty was ratified by an unlawfully seated U.S. Senate. Even though our courts have basically declared it's okay to allow a constitutional amendment stand even if it was fraudulently ratified! we the people disagree. We are a nation of laws, not lies. Judges are not infallible. They are not gods and too many have an agenda they bring to the bench. Second: the communist UN cannot over ride the U.S. Constitution, alter, amend, nullify or change it. Years ago I wrote a column about the unconstitutional participation by the US and the UN treaty, citing the brilliant writings of J.J. Boesel and a critical case, Reid v Covert:

The Unconstitutional UN Treaty

I. Articles 36 & 43 of the UN Treaty are unconstitutional because they amend the Constitution without the consent of 3/4ths of the states. There are also two laws passed pursuant to the UN Treaty which are unconstitutional for the same reason. See Reid v. Covert, 354 U.S. (1956).

II. The UN is insolvent. Secretary-General Boutros Boutros Ghali admits in The New York Times interview, reprinted in Columbus Dispatch, August 29, 1993.

III. Oklahoma is a perfect state to seek to recover the $1.2 billion recently paid by the U.S. to the UN. See attached draft of proposed Oklahoma lawsuit v. the UN.

REID V. COVERT, 354 U.S. (1956)

"It would be manifestly contrary to the objectives of those who created the Constitution...let alone alien to our entire constitutional history and tradition to construe Article VI (The Supremacy Clause) as permitting the United States to exercise power under an international agreement without observing constitutional prohibitions. In effect, such construction would permit amendment of that document in a manner not sanctioned by Article V."

The full column is here and I urge you to take the time over lunch this week or in the evening after work to read this important legal analysis. There isn't a scintilla of constitutional authority for the people's treasury to be plundered to send HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to support this private consortium of communists, corrupt dictatorships and war mongers. Any member of Congress who has voted one penny towards UN funding should be removed from office for violating their oath and that applies to sitting presidents as well who sign any budget which includes this blatantly unconstitutional pillaging of the people's treasury.

Here's the reality of the situation: No Congress in the past sixty years or the "new" Congress which will be sworn in January 2007, will make any effort to get America out of the UN. This is a fact written in stone. With the exception of Congressman Ron Paul and a few colleagues, it will not happen because most of these public servants no longer serve the best interests of these united States of America. They grovel to their global master$. They pimp for their global master$. They believe in a one world government; my CD is full of Congressional Record speeches which prove this statement to be fact, i.e.:

"Mrs. Holt. Mr. Speaker, many of us recently received a letter from the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, inviting Members of Congress to participate in a ceremonial signing of "A Declaration of Interdependence" on January 30 in Congress Hall, adjacent to Independence Hall in Philadelphia. A number of Members of Congress have been invited to sign this document, lending their prestige to its theme, but I want the record to show my strong opposition to this declaration.

"It calls for surrender of our national sovereignty to international organizations. It declares that our economy should be regulated by international authorities. It proposes that we enter a "new world order" that would redistribute the wealth created by the American people. Mr. Speaker, this is an obscenity that defiles our Declaration of Independence, signed 200 years ago in Philadelphia. We fought a great Revolution for independence and individual liberty, but now it proposed that we participate in a world socialist order.

"Are we a proud and free people, or are we a carcass to be picked by the jackals of the world, who want to destroy us? When one cuts through the high-flown rhetoric of this "Declaration of Interdependence," one finds key phrases that tell the story. For example, it states:

"The economy of all nations is a seamless web, and that no one nation can any longer effectively maintain its processes of production and monetary systems without recognizing the necessity for collaborative regulation by international authorities."

"How do you like the idea of "international authorities" controlling our production and monetary system, Mr. Speaker? How could any American dedicated to our national independence and freedom tolerate such an idea? The declaration goes on to urge a strengthening of the United Nations and a broadening of the jurisdiction of the World Court, "that these may preside over a reign of law that will not only end wars but end as well the mindless violence which terrorizes our society even in times of peace. Examine this closely. It suggests that world government will somehow cure the problems of crime and terrorism, not just the problem of war. Quite obviously, the sponsors of this declaration have lost all contact with reality.

"Mr. Speaker, we have lately witnessed the United Nations organization in full cry against America and her allies of the Free World. We have watched the UN become an instrument of the Soviet Union and its shabby following of despots, large and small. America should never subject her fate to decisions by such an assembly, unless we long for national suicide. Instead, we have independence and freedom."

The communist UN has nothing to do with solving the world's problems. UN "peacekeepers" have never kept peace anywhere on this globe. THE goal is to establish this rotten, corrupt, inept organization as the central authority for one world government rule. It is imperative that the US sever all ties with this communist organization, but that will not happen unless and until the American people surround their state houses and demand the fraud of the Seventeenth Amendment be exposed and the states take back their power. In the meantime, all the rest of the talk about accountability and Bolton's job is just more fodder for talk radio and will not kill the cancer. Keep the uninformed distracted while the Destroyers continue on their quest to eliminate America as a sovereign nation.

The UN cannot - regardless of how many provisions, regulations or other one world government BS they spew - nullify the Second Amendment. As regular readers know, I have and continue to stress how critical it is that Americans fully understand the true meaning of the Second Amendment and the state militias under control of the state legislatures. Our right to own and bear arms is not only an absolute, a given RIGHT that no government can take away, a certain class of Americans are REQUIRED to be armed under the Second Amendment. I have shipped thousands of them. People are letting me know they're making copies and giving them out. We need to saturate this country with them.

Get to those town hall meetings and political events for your state legislator/senator, county sheriff and put them on the hot seat. While Wayne LaPierre may have written an interesting book on the UN and guns, La Pierre and the NRA has refused to support Dr. Edwin Vieira by conducting a massive public relations campaign to once and for all stop the attack on the Second Amendment. Why, I don't know, but if you're a member of the NRA, you might ask them why they aren't doing the one thing that will bring the constant attacks and anti-Second Amendment bills to a complete halt, both in Congress and the states.

And, last but not least: Just who is going to enforce any so called resolution by the UN to disarm the 80+ MILLION gun owners in this country? Let me give you a hint. Several years ago, the commies, fascists and brain dead women in the California State Legislature passed another draconian weapons ban. It was heralded as the solution to crime in California. All owners of so-called "assault" weapons were now required to register them or turn them in; the State would "buy them back." The buy back has been a complete and total failure. While a small percentage complied, it appears that the great majority of individuals who own "assault" weapons in California didn't turn them over nor have they registered them with the state. How has the State of California enforced this "mandatory" registration over the years? I know of not one single incident where law enforcement has gone to anyone's door to confiscate an assault weapon. Not one. There has been no crack down on owners nor any enforcement other than more huffing and puffing from gas bag politicians who have zero understanding of the Second Amendment.

As far as I know to this day, none of the major gun organizations in California have stepped up to the plate to get out the word about Edwin's magnificent project. They seem content with the same old "lobby" the state legislature with more failure being the result. But, I guess it keeps the donations coming in while the cancer festers. I know hundreds of individuals who belong to various gun organizations and they all wonder why the major ones like the NRA won't step forward to support the one constitutional remedy which WILL stop the constant attack on the Second Amendment? It's not as if what Edwin Vieira has written and proposed is unlawful, serious or anything else. He is a staunch supporter of the Constitution and the rule of law and whether Americans know it or not, we owe this remarkable man a huge debt of gratitude for the personal sacrifices he has made in performing the research instead of making big bucks in the legal profession.

So what if the communist UN decided to pass some resolution which called for all Americans to surrender their "small arms" or any other guns. 99.999% of the 80 + MILLION gun owners in this country will laugh and go about their business. Would the communist UN then send in some of their foreign mercenaries onto U.S. soil to confiscate guns? Are they going to go door to door in all 50 states and ask for Americans to simply hand over their guns? There's a hoot. Would these be the same UN Belgian troops who tortured children in Bosnia and made them drink their own urine? It won't be American troops I can tell you that right now.

Do you really think these cowards, crooks, criminals and traitors in the U.S. Congress would be so foolish as to go along with such a proclamation? They're arrogant, but they know this is a recipe for a very bad scenario. Regardless of what these private citizens who "serve" in the communist UN think they have the power to do regarding our sovereign Republic and the Second Amendment, they're dead wrong and any move to do so, I believe, would elicit a constitutional response by Americans.

President George Herbert Walker Bush, addressing the General Assembly of the United Nations, Feb. 1, 1992 said: "It is the sacred principles enshrined in the United Nations charter to which the American people will henceforth pledge their allegiance." I have never given my allegiance to the communist UN nor will I ever surrender one of my rights to that body of evil doers. I do not support or donate to any organization even remotely affiliated with this group who seek to destroy the sovereignty of all nations and bring them under a one world government totalitarian fist.

Neither Congress nor the states can alter, amend or nullify the Second Amendment without a constitutional amendment which must be properly ratified by a majority of the states. Won't happen. Neither can a private organization called the UN. Congress and the state legislatures have unconstitutionally eroded the Second Amendment because most Americans have no idea what the Second Amendment means. Too many men in this country are wimps and too lazy to do their part for freedom and liberty. "Lawmakers" have gotten away with it because party faithful continue to vote incumbents back in office who violate the supreme law of the land due to lack of knowledge about the history of this country or the Second Amendment thanks to the dumbing down in the government's indoctrination centers (public schools) I call institutions of lower learning. This is EXACTLY why I put Dr. Edwin Vieira's brilliant writings on this constitutional issue on a CD (scroll down to the bottom). Those who don't have the time to read his scholarly work or have access to a computer will be able to get fully educated on the issue simply by listening to the CD while driving or at home. Only when people know their rights will they get motivated enough to protect them.
