Beyond tolerance
By Julie M. Quist
A recent Rainbow Families conference tells us much about the homosexuals’ design for our kids. One conference workshop, for example, was entitled, “Early Childhood and Elementary Classroom Environments,” promising to ground teachers in how to embed “anti-bias/equity education” into the classroom.
The workshop leader had an education Masters with a specialty in “anti-bias based early childhood education program,” and she directed a community child care center. Her Masters, stated her bio, focused on “moving educators beyond teaching tolerance towards anti-bias/ equity based education.” She was also a member of the National Association of Early Childhood Education.
Notice tolerance, a sacrosanct notion until only recently, is passé. As observant parents have known all along, homosexual advocates will never stop at being tolerated. Now it’s "anti-bias" and "equity."
"Anti-bias" polices the thoughts and attitudes of our children. "Equity" enforces equality between homosexuality and heterosexuality.
This is extraordinarily radical. Keep in mind, early childhood is ages 3 to 5. Heterosexuality, in this view of the world, must not be seen as the norm. This workshop demonstrated how teachers were to insert this aggressive homosexual indoctrination into preschool and early grades.
Anti-bias and equity are ready for the taking. The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), for example, which certifies preschool teachers and centers, has already published “The Anti-bias Curriculum,” used in many states’ preschool “standards” or “outcomes.” They’re much like the old “outcomes based education” − OBE for preschoolers, diversity training. The purpose of OBE is to transform the child’s entire view of the world. It’s a much easier job with the toddlers and infants.
When government steps in to “help” us raise our children, they lose our protection and wisdom. God gave mothers and fathers for a reason.
