“A Perfect Storm is Brewing”

The calm sea of freedom grows angry with its caretakers. It opens its mouth and from the depths of its cavernous lungs, exhales a wind that howls in the rigging of the good ship America. Waves crash over the gunnels and wash everything off the decks into the briny deep, that are not tied down.
The flag of liberty strains under the force of the rising gusts. The ink on the documents that proclaim our freedom fades from lack of use and exposure to the evil that resides in the hearts of men. As the evil rises, so do the waves and the wind. A tempest is brewing on the uncertain waters of America.
The passengers on the U. S. S. America try to find ways to calm the winds and level the seas, but so far the force is too great and their efforts futile. They are at the mercy of the outraged elements. They must find a path to calmer seas ..... but how they ask? How can they atone for 100 years of apathy and disinterest? How can they answer for their mismanagement of the Consent of the Governed? How can they overcome the forces that are now pre-empting the freedom they took for granted? How can they convince the ignorant and naive passengers on the ship, that the path they seek leads to enslavement and that is why the seas and the wind grow increasingly angry?
It is written that when seas are calm, it is easy to forget the approaching storm. But wise men know that a storm is just over the horizon and we must always be prepared for its arrival. When food is plentiful, the thought of hunger never enters our minds and we ignore the lessons that history has taught us at our own peril. When clean, clear water flows continuously from the fountain, thirst and drought fade into the dark recesses of a distant memory, not remembering that if evil holds title to the valve that directs the water to the fountain, evil can turn off the valve.
If we do not train for battle, we are weak when an enemy knocks on our door. The enemy has knocked on freedom's door and is breaking it down. But the enemy is not a foreign enemy that has knocked on our door, it is an enemy within. It is the traitor that walks the halls of justice as one of us, but meets secretly in the night with his co-conspirators to plot our overthrow and the destruction of our institutions of freedom.
Strange as it may seem, military heroism is born on the edge of extreme adversity and chaos, in the fog of war. In most cases, anger and outrage are the motivations that trigger the sudden conversion to heroism. Civilian heroism is also born of anger and outrage from unsatisfactory conditions, injustices, loss of freedom, or an event, or series of events that catalyze individuals or groups into action, to stop the injustices and reclaim their freedom.
Today, in the Alice-in-Wonderland world of Obama, Pelosi and Reid ("OPR"), unsatisfactory conditions exist, extreme injustices abound, the attack on our freedoms continues unabated and a series of unconstitutional events and actions by OPR and their minions, have set the stage for a Perfect Storm. Or could it be that they have struck a match to a tinder dry forest? Because you see, when a 'forest fire' is lit, there is no telling which way it will go. It depends on the 'wind', the 'fuel load' and the 'humidity'. But our crystal ball tells us that the 'wind' is about to blow real hard, the 'fuel load' is huge and the 'humidity' is dropping rapidly. It just takes the right 'match', a lightning strike, or spontaneous combustion. The question is, what (or who) will set it off?
Could it be illegal aliens getting amnesty and the porous nature of our borders that government won't protect, that will cause the wind to blow fiercely, or ignite the forest fire? Will it be the nationalization of banks and businesses, or perhaps the grossly irresponsible spending of our tax dollars along with waste, fraud, abuse and corruption by our leaders, that will make the waves grow higher? Or will the selling of our very sovereignty to the world bankers and internationalists, trigger spontaneous combustion? Will globalism and the headlong rush towards the one world order, or too many bums on the welfare rolls, or radical environmentalism that eats at the heart of our freedom, or the man-caused global warming fraud, or CO2 emission limits or cap and tax legislation that will break the back of our economy, or could it be just the unconscionable trashing of our Constitution by politicians that will create the conditions for a perfect storm, or be the friction that lights the match, that causes a conflagration? No one knows for sure. But what the wise ones know, a forest fire comes with a dry, hot wind and a human perfect storm brews in the absence of the principles of liberty.
It is the approaching tempest, the perfect storm, or a wind-driven forest fire that will catalyze true Americans into action and they will arise by the millions. They will mutiny against their illegal captain and first mates and take over the U. S. S. America and steer her to calmer waters, where the principles of freedom and liberty make up the unbreakable timbers of her keel, where the characteristics of honor, integrity and honesty will be the strong members of her hull, where the foundation of law under our constitution will be her decking, where proud people will fill her hold and man the wheel and where the song of freedom fills her sails, as she explores the uncharted waters of her enlightened destiny, as the beacon of hope for the entire world, under a proudly waving American flag.
