The global war on terror is truly a "Holy War," with Muslims killing Muslims as well as innocent men, women and children simply trying to survive.
Is this any way to fight a world war? You bet it is, if you're a radical Islamic Muslim.
It all comes down to Good Muslims and Bad Muslims. We all should know by now after decades of Mideast crises in the Muslim world that there are decent Muslims opposed to what the radicals are doing to their religion, which is based on the life of Jesus Christ.
Yes, Muslims share a common denominator with Jews and Christians: Jesus Christ!
The divide between the two - Judeo-Christian believers and Muslim believers - is the way the two religious worlds practice their faith. The Islamo-fascist terrorists are willing to kill every Jew, Christian and "infidel" that refuses to convert to the Muslim religion.
In fact, the Muslim "Death Squad" actually believes if they blow themselves up to kill Jews, Christians and infidels, these murdering maniacs will be rewarded with 72 vestial virgins greeting them at the pearly gates. What kind of "reward" is that? Would Jesus approve of such practices? Every sane and reasonable human being knows the answer to that question.
So how does the civilized war deal with these fanatics wanting to destroy Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel and any country or person that doesn't convert to their 7 th Century way of life?
An "infidel" is anyone who refuses to convert to Muslim. You're talking about billions of people on this planet.
The civilized world of Jews, Christians and other faiths must come together and take the terrorists head-on (no pun intended). If we don't, we will all be beheaded or blown up by a human terrorist bomber. Life means nothing to these flesh-and-blood bombers. It’s all about Death. They promote a Culture of Death. Therein lies the seed of their own self-destruction.
Everyone I know prefers Life to Death. Jesus died to liberate the sinful human race, and then he came back to Life - the miracle of the Resurrection.
If the Muslims worship Jesus, as written in their bible, the Qur'an (Koran), then they must pray for Life - not Death. Hence we have the Good Muslims and the Bad Muslims killing each other in a "Holy War" where Death, not Life, is the final outcome.
My best man and best friend since 1959 is a Syrian Catholic (there are also Syrian Jews in the area where I live and work). My friend, a former newspaper reporter, columnist and editor, believes in the freedoms and liberties of the Free World. He cannot understand how any nation, or society, can live in a culture where Death is the only solution.
Why can't the Good Muslims join the Free World in the global War on Terror and help the liberators defeat the global enemy - Muslim terrorists out to destroy Western Civilization, which is all of the Free World.
This is what the global War on Terror is all about. It really comes down to them (a fraction of the global population), against all of us who are committed to Life, not Death.
We have enemies in our own country who are not terrorists, but are committed to a Marxist Revolution, the kind of anti-human revolutions that led to the Soviet Union, communist China, Cuba and other murderous dictatorships throughout the world.
The good citizens of America are fighting two wars: The war against a Marxist-Communist movement in America, and a global "jihad" aimed at America, Israel and all of Western Civilization.
The bad citizens of America are anti-America, anti-capitalism, and anti-free enterprise, joined by the agnostic secularists who want to remove God and religion from our Constitutional Republic.
Is that where we want to go, where we want to be?
Now that you know what George W. Bush is up against, what is your solution to the global War on Terror?
More appeasement? More negotiations? More politically-correct "niceness" to the cold-blooded killers?
