When Democrats Became
'Dumbocrats'

What do Democrats stand for today?
The Democrats gave our great nation “Billarry” (Bill & Hillary Clinton in the White House and now Senator Hillary Clinton in the United States Congress).
And the Democrats almost gave this proud Republic Al Gore in a rigged election in Florida.
Gore, during his bid for the Presidency, crowned Clinton as the greatest President in American history! If that’s Gore’s definition of “success,” then Democrats, or “Dumbocrats” are in big trouble.
Clinton was the worst! – not the best President in U.S. history.
Imagine Gore today leading the global war against terrorists and those nations that harbor these mass murderers? There would be no war against terrorists because the Clinton-Gore gang don’t believe in war. These forsaken hedonistic “hippies” believe in peace, love and drugs to make you happy-happy!
In New Jersey, Democrats gave us Jim Florio, first, and then Jim McGreevey. Back-to-back, tax-and-spend liberals who believe that more government is better than less government. Their motto: “Punish the taxpayers!” The Democrat party has become the “Dumbocrat” party!
The Democrats have dumbed-down and down-sized America’s standards and values by voting for liberal-socialist-Marxist candidates disguised as American “Democrats.”
What we have today is a morally- and ethically-challenged party whose only candidate for the U.S. Senate in this year’s election was Robert Torricelli – a pathological liar and classical con artist. The “Torch” quit and he was replaced by another liberal loser, Frank Lautenberg.
The first time Torricelli ran for the U.S. Senate seat six years ago, he told New Jersey voters (with a straight face) that he would not raise taxes, if elected.
The first thing Torricelli did after being elected was to vote for Clinton’s biggest tax increase in the history of this country.
Torricelli is shameless, without a conscience.
Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, a proud Democrat, called on New Jersey voters to “recall” Torricelli from office for “lying to the voters.” Koch attacked Torricelli on his weekly ABC radio show.
I respect Ed Koch for calling Torricelli exactly what he is: A liar.
There was a time when the Democrat party possessed a modicum of credibility. My two favorite Democrat Presidents were Harry Truman (1945-52) and John F. Kennedy (1960-63).
I interviewed Senator Jack Kennedy for the North Jersey Herald-News at the Teaneck Armory, the night before he was elected President. The next morning, at the age of 21, I voted for the first time. I voted for Kennedy. He was the last credible Democrat President, in my judgment after 43 years in the news business.
One of the first things Kennedy did was to cut taxes. Kennedy’s courageous cuts were 10 times more than President Bush’s anemic tax cuts last year.
Today, Kennedy would be considered a conservative. That’s how far “left” the Democrats have gone since 1960. They are now socialists bent on destroying capitalism and the “American Dream.”
Why can’t Democrats today find candidates who represent the ideals of our constitutional Republic, the foundation of our political, social, spiritual, educational and economic system.
A constitutional Republic simply stands for the “rule of law.”
I’m sick of the slick Dumbocrats who speak with forked tongue and then get elected and reelected because of their diabolical “spinmeisters” and a liberal media that plays the same lying game as their liberal cohorts.
Torricelli is yet another example of that corrupt political process that’s destroying the greatest society in the history of humanity.
