On The United Nations

The United Nations is now and always has been intended to be the seat of a world totalitarian government. From its predecessor the League of Nations (which at the time our Senate refused to ratify) to the present ever-expanding roles in a plethora of areas such as education, religion, trade, and the "rebuilding" of Iraq, the architects of this New World Order have been slowly, piece by piece eroding our national sovereignty.
Our current Presidents father, George H. W. Bush repeatedly referred to the New World Order as a reason to send our troops to the Persian Gulf. On September 11, 1990 he stated, "Out of these troubled times, our fifth objective - a new world order - can emerge.... We are now in sight of a United Nations that performs as envisioned by its founders." Wouldn't it be wise to know what those founders envisioned?
In the summer of 1944 a semi-secret conference was held at a secluded Georgetown estate know as Dumbarton Oaks. The attendees were mainly American, British, and Soviet. Most of the Americans were either Communists or strong Communist sympathizers such as the conference secretary (the infamous Alger Hiss), and were eventually exposed as spies. This conference was the first in a long train that gave us the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, and NATO, to name a few. None of these organizations exist to promote the United States' interests.
With founders like these, their vision of how the U.N. should perform is obviously not based on the principles of freedom that our Constitution was. They envision progressive disarmament of member countries while at the same time increasing the U.N.'s, until no nation has the military might to challenge the U.N. Peace Force. No human beings should be accorded that much power over others. We are told that it would only be used for humanitarian or peaceful purposes, Are we to believe the U.N. is led and staffed by angels? Just talk to anyone who has attended any U.N. function and they will tell you that Fidel Castro and people like him are idolized and the United States is demonized for everything from poverty to pollution.
We have just re-joined the United Nations Education, Social, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). This group is intended to be a world school board. This is what they had to say in 1949, and there is no evidence of change: "The kindergarten or infant school has a significant part to play in a child 's education. Not only can it correct many of the errors of home training, but it can prepare the child for membership.in the world society. As long as the child breathes the poisoned air of nationalism, education in world-mindedness can produce only rather precarious results. As we have pointed out, it is frequently the family that infects the child with extreme nationalism." Does this sound like something out of Orwell's 1984?
We must remove ourselves from the U.N. and send them packing. There is a bill in the House that would do just this. H.R. 1146 was introduced by Rep. Ron Paul (R, TX) and currently has 16 cosponsors. Write your Representative and ask him/her to cosponsor and work for its passage. For more information on the U.N. and what you can do to help, go to www.getusout.org
