Dear Baldwin supporters and voters,
Many of us are looking for ways in this last week to make a big push for Chuck and get more votes. An encouraging and very practical article called Getting Out The Vote, Part II has some great ideas to follow. Local Victory is a great source of information about practical politics and campaign techniques.
Even if you have not been able to organize to the extent shown below this year (which is most of us) don't despair or give up. You should [while taking note of these techniques for use in future campaigns] contact everyone you know and everyone you have met over the months of this campaign and do everything possible to get them to the polls to vote for the Baldwin/Castle ticket and other Constitution Party candidates. Make sure people who plan on voting absentee have their ballots, mark them and send them in. Please don't let any registered voter who you believe will vote for Baldwin/Castle fail to vote. Don't rely on email messages alone. Call people and, if it is physically possible, be prepared to assist anyone who needs transportation to polls.
If you live in a write-in state (California, Arizona, Montana, Texas, Georgia, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, North Carolina, and Maine) it is particularly important that you make sure that everyone you know in your state realizes that write-in votes count every bit as much as votes for a candidate listed on the ballot and that Chuck Baldwin is a certified write-in candidate in your state. In no way are we "throwing in the towel" in write-in states. Be active and aggressive this week in spreading the word that voters in your state have the opportunity to vote for the Baldwin/Castle ticket through the method of write-in!
Make it your business to contact the local or state election office and inquire about rules for writing in Chuck Baldwin. For example, in some states it is only necessary to write-in Chuck Baldwin while in others it may be necessary to write-in both Chuck Baldwin and Darrell Castle. Your state may have other peculiarities. Make sure that you are aware of your state's write-in requirements so that you can inform your friends, family, associates and folks you meet on the campaign trail to make it easier on them when they step into the voting booth.
Remember, it is imperative that you get everyone you know out to vote for Chuck Baldwin, Darrell Castle and our great local and state Constitution Party candidates on November 4th!
