Take Action!
Congress is back in session this week and they will be greeted
by a full-scale media effort in support of Ted Kennedy's hate
crimes initiative. The media has already started trumpeting an
FBI report allegedly showing that hate crimes are on the rise,
and now New York City is suddenly reporting a 25 percent rise
in such offenses.
Major papers like the Christian Science Monitor are featuring
op-eds pushing for hate crimes legislation under headlines
like, "We Must Not Tolerate Hate Crimes."
Of course, the media fails to mention the chilling effect
Kennedy's bill would have on the rights of anyone who doesn't
support the radical pro-homosexual agenda!
All this comes "coincidentally" as Congress takes up this
amendment -- most likely this week or next.
Last week, I asked for friends of Liberty Counsel to step
forward and schedule faxes to key Congressional leaders.
We still need friends like you to help meet our goal of at
least 50 faxes to Conference Committee members every day
this week and next week.
Please go here to send your faxes:
In light of the left-leaning media's push, your faxes are even
more vital than ever. Thank you for taking action!
