Take Action!
The Pennsylvania legislature recently passed Act 44, creating an opportunity for the politicians in Harrisburg to continue their big-government agenda of taxing and spending. The toll road proposal for Interstate 80 would create a new tax, paid for by anyone traveling on that road, or who has a business along the road. Instead of prioritizing government spending and cutting tax rates, the politicians want to increase the tax burden on Pennsylvanians and those traveling through the state.
Thankfully, there is a bill in the legislature (HB 1878) which would repeal Act 44 and remove the authority of the state to toll I-80. We need your help to make this bill a reality!
Take Action!
Only by repealing Act 44 can we turn the tide against the pending tax hike on access to I-80. The politicians need to hear the message that they have a spending problem, not a revenue problem. Instead of attempting to grow government by increasing taxes, politicians should cut spending and live within their means. Repealing Act 44 is a good step toward sending this message loud and clear.
Sincerely,
