Gas rationing in the 70's worked even though we grumbled about it. It might even have been good for us!

Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices.

Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit?

An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up your car you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia . Just purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis. Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want me, my family and my friends dead. The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Exxon /Mobil........................ 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway............. 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco.................................... 62,231,000 barrels

And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! (We pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)

The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep buying their product.

All of this information is available from the U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

But to have a real impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers With the help of the internet, it's really simple to do. Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!! I'm sending this note to about thirty people. If each of you send it to at only ten more (30 x 10 = 300)....and those 300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)....and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE MILLION consumers!!!!!!!

If those three million get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you guessed it...THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE-the entire population of the United States of America !!!!

Again, all you have to do is forward this message to 10 people. How long would that really take you? If each of us sends this e-mail out to ten more people, within one day all 300 MILLION people could theoretically be contacted during the next eight days!

Judicial Watch Uncovers Shocking New FDA Documents Related to Gardasil

Those of you who regularly read this column know that Judicial Watch has taken the lead in exposing the ugly truth about the dangerous side effects associated with Gardasil, the vaccination for human papillomavirus (HPV) currently being administered to young girls.

Well this week, we released a special report based on new "adverse event reports" and other information obtained from the FDA under the Freedom of Information Act. These reports document 10 reported deaths since September, 2007. (The total number of death reports is at least 18 and as many as 20.) The FDA also produced 140 "serious" reports (27 of which were categorized as "life threatening"), 10 spontaneous abortions and six cases of Guillain-Barre Syndrome - all since January 2008.

Here are a few excerpts from the documents we uncovered. The rest can be read in our report. (Warning: These descriptions get very graphic.)

Information has been received...concerning a 20 year old female with no medical history reported, who on 01-APR-2008 was vaccinated with a dose of Gardasil....The patient died four days after...patient sought unspecified medical attention. An autopsy was performed which ruled out suicide and anything suspicious. The cause of death is currently unknown. VAERS ID: 310262-1 (D)
Cold sweat, Fall, Foaming at mouth, Grand mal convulsion, Immediate post-injection reaction. . .Pt [patient, 14-year-old female] received vaccine, took 6 steps, fell to the ground unconscious and had a 60 sec grand mal seizure then regained consciousness. [Blood pressure] after seizure 60/40 pale clammy skin. [Patient] had bit her tongue and had foam around her mouth. VAERS ID: 305259-1 (S)
Information has been received from a physician concerning a female patient who on an unknown date was vaccinated with a dose of Gardasil. Subsequently, the patient experienced a coma and is now paralyzed. At the time of this report, the patient's outcome was unknown. VAERS ID: 303188-1
Would you allow your daughter to have this vaccine when these are the potential consequences? I know I wouldn't. If Merck has its way, however, we might not have much of a choice. Merck had been lobbying to have the vaccine mandated for young girls and some politicians seemed willing to oblige. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has already recommended that 11 and 12-year-old girls begin receiving the vaccine as part of school vaccination efforts. (Following the CDC's lead, Texas Governor Rick Perry signed an executive order last year mandating the vaccine for 6th grade girls. Parent groups fought the mandate and the mandate was rescinded.)

Moreover, according to a recent article in The Washington Post, Merck plans to lobby the FDA to approve the vaccination for young boys as well. (Right now, the vaccination is approved for girls/young women from ages 9 to 26. Just last week, the FDA rejected Merck's attempt to expand the use of the vaccination for women 27 and older. Merck plans to reapply.)

SENATOR REID IS A TWO-FACED LIAR
Senator Harry Reid, the Minority Leader in the Senate, voted for the Child Custody Protection Act (S-403) to send the message to voters in his home state of Nevada that he was really against taking minor girls across state lines for abortions. Then, fifteen minutes after the bill passed he blocked it from going to conference committee with the House version, thus killing it. This is the most two-faced, double-standard act I have ever seen in the Senate, and I have seen a lot in the last two decades working on Capitol Hill. Senator Reid did not do this as an after thought. As the Senate Democrat leader he told vulnerable Democrat Senators to "back it 'cause you need the votes back home, I'll kill it before it goes to conference." This was a pre planned attempt to fool voters back in the states while handing a major victory to the billion dollar abortion industry which funds the Democrat party.

Please Sign ESA Letter to Senate

By now you should have received a package in the mail asking you to sign a letter we are sending to key leaders in the Senate working on Endangered Species Act legislation. If you have already signed and returned the letter, thank you.

If you have not, would you please read the letter below and consider signing it and returning it to us immediately. We anticipate several bills to be introduced in the Senate in the very near future. We want to have as many signatures as soon as possible to ensure Senate leaders have an opportunity to consider the position of those most affected by this devastating law.

The message in this letter is straightforward. Property Rights, not the Endangered Species Act, should be considered first. It calls for repeal of the ESA. It is a message that those inside the beltway are not willing to say, although most agree repeal is the right thing to do. It is the same message we sent to the House early this year, which helped change the debate in favor of landowners.

In just a few short weeks since this package was mailed, we have already gathered over 700 signatures, with more coming in each day. Several people are sending the letter out to other individuals and organization's membership encouraging them to sign with us. The more signers we have, the more of an impact this message will have on the Senate. Any help you can give to accomplish this is appreciated.

Dear Senator Inhofe,

The Endangered Species Act is a fundamentally flawed law that because of its power makes landowners the enemy of the environment. Why do you continue to support the ESA?

The ESA was never intended to protect species. It was specifically created so government could regulate private property. It's that simple. Any other excuse for this law is nothing more than smoke and mirrors. The Endangered Species Act does not save species; it regulates individual landowners.

Currently, over 80 percent of all listed species are on private land, yet in more than 30 years fewer than six percent of the 1,800-plus species listed as endangered or threatened have been removed from the list. Most of those were removed because they were already extinct or wrongly listed. The only accomplishments of the ESA have been wasting billions of taxpayer dollars and wiping out the livelihoods of thousands of hard working Americans.

If you truly believe species need to be recovered, then you would throw this law out. No amount of incremental changes, pubic/private partnerships, or sound science rhetoric can fix this law.

Congress needs to revisit the wisdom of our Founding Fathers who believed the ownership of property must be secured from government intervention for liberty to exist. Take that security away through environmental laws like the ESA, and not only is liberty not secure, it no longer exists. You only have to look at the past 30 years since the enactment of the ESA to see what it has produced - the dramatic destruction of property rights and the failure to recover species.

Private property rights must come first. Private property sets us apart from every nation in the world by creating wealth, inspiring pride, feeding the nation, and even providing habitat for all species. Reauthorizing a law that destroys wealth, creates disincentives, punishes honest, hard working individuals, and doesn't even accomplish what it purports to do, is beyond belief.

By regulating through command and control you create antagonism with landowners with no desire or incentive to protect species. Do the right thing. Eliminate the current ESA and private property will then save endangered species.

Property rights, not the Endangered Species Act, should be protected first.
